The Guildford Hot Fifty's started life in March 1995.By a group of friends who wanted a Rock n Roll club in the area, since the days of The Star Club and The Wooden Bridge.

The Guildford American and Hot Rod Car Cruise, became very popular, where committee members were heavily involved. Rockin Roy and Lyn being the main stagers and Roy being DJ in the Burger King as Kool Kat and Mad Andy.

So they knew there was a following for a Rock N Roll Club. A committee was picked and a Venue chosen, FAIRLANDS HALL which is still going strong to this day.

A live band every month with a different Rockin' DJ, giving a wide spectrum of music playing Rock N Roll, Rockabilly, making  it a good mix of people who enjoy the Rockin scene. The Hot Fifty's a good club to meet friends, The main Hall large enough to Bop, Stroll and Jive. There is ample seating around the dance floor.

When entering the venue you will be greeted by Lyn John and Sue. John however sorts out the raffle and finds some very nice prizes. Keith is our man who books the bands, so if you are interested in playing at our club get in touch with Keith. Andy however is our Mediator for the Website and general Gofer his been around the scene for a long time. Roy is our chairman and PR man and Lyn sorts out the funds for the club.

In the bar area we have a stall selling Rockin related merchandise, and in the foyer a resident Record and CD stall, where it's always buzzing and a Kitchen area where we have hot and cold food served though out the evening.

If you own a classic Car or Iron Horse we have an allocated place to park your ride. There is a large car park for others.

Parents wanting to bring children are welcome but are responsible for their well being. "You" will find us a friendly club and our saying has always been

'What a good night'
